ARTIST STATEMENT
"All we see around and inside us is an endless landscape"
Moving from the external to the internal landscape, from the traditional school of realistic plein air painting, the artist sets out to look for inner states of a person, expressing them through universal images of nature.
The search for the embodiment of luminosity, as if from сelectial bodies, is an important question that worries the author, as a student from generations of continuity of the Russian school, going back to the origins from Aivazovsky to Kuindzhi and further to Roerich and Bilibin - their students and followers right up to the present.
The artist seeks light and its embodiment: physical and meta. Finding her own visual language is a long journey: expressive color combinations, limited palettes, neon glows and contrasts, multi-layering and different textures, the artist abstractly touches on cosmic phenomena, encrypts the archetype and unconscious symbols with spots and colors, which can be read in a state of contemplation, letting our attention go for a walk.
The idealistic inner forest opens up an observing perception: changes of nights and days, willow trees by the water, resting angels under the crown, fountains, сelectial bodies in eternal silence.
Hidden surreal images provide an opportunity to explore the laboratory of our mind.
The artist works with inexpressible themes of joy, dreams and hope, consciously bypassing catharsis, but turning to philosophy and sensory sensations.
The author lifts the crown, inviting you on a journey of self-exploration into an endless landscape, connecting with yourself in the inner forest.
